Scripture Study

During the Easter season, as the Acts of the Apostles is read in our liturgies, the name of Barnabas appears at significant times.  Who was this man, nick-named Barnabas, which means “Son of Encouragement”, and what gifts did he bring to the early church?  What gift might his life be for us? This study uses materials from the new “Alive in the Word” series from the Little Rock Bible Study.  Our author is Biblical scholar and former Benedictine abbot, Father Jerome Kodell.

This group will be led by Sr. Mary Jo Polak on Zoom beginning  7:00 p.m. CDT on Wednesdays June 9, 16, and 23.

To register, inquire about an appropriate donation, and get information on ordering or downloading our text, email or call: 605-668- 6021;
