Online Advent Retreat at the Benedictine Peace Center

Advent Retreat 2021

Prepare the Way of the Lord:  Being Prophetic in a World of Trouble

Saturday, December 4, 2021

9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Advent Retreat

Join us on ZOOM for our 2021 Advent retreat as we explore the call of the prophets of the past and present, as well as our own call to bring Christ to our troubled world.

Participants will be invited to reflect on biblical prophetic figures and examples of contemporary prophetic Christians.  We will explore our own Baptismal call to be prophetic, to speak the mind of God in the midst of our personal challenges, to help prepare the way of the Lord in a troubled world.

A downloadable brochure has additional information.  You might use this flyer to let others know about this retreat.

For more information and to register,  use the form below or contact the Benedictine Peace Center staff at 605-668-6292 or benedictinepeacectr@yanktonbenedictines.org

Please register by December 2.  You will receive the zoom link by email the day before, along with handouts for your reflection during this Advent retreat.

The Advent retreats at the Benedictine Peace Center always remind me that this is a season of waiting in hope and expectation.

I am invited to be still and listen for Christ’s growing presence in my life.
